About This Course
This course surveys major theological themes of the Old Testament with special attention to covenant, law, prophecy, and narrative structure. Students examine how historical context informs theological meaning.
Particular emphasis is placed on understanding prophetic literature within covenantal frameworks rather than predictive reduction.
Students develop the ability to trace theological continuity and ethical implications throughout the Hebrew Scriptures.
